Old National Bank has an opportunity for a
Commercial Credit Associate in Ann Arbor, MI. The primary purpose of the Commercial Credit
Associate is to assist the Portfolio Managers in the timely completion of
credit requests for commercial and corporate loan requests and with ongoing
portfolio management. This is an
entry-level position into the Commercial Credit Department.
Accurately spread financial statements into
Moody’s Financial Analyst database.
Identify and communicate issues regarding the financial statements and
other source documents to the Portfolio Manager.
Prepare financial statement trend reports,
extended ratio analysis sheets, and other analysis to assist Portfolio Managers
in identifying and evaluating the need for migration of credit risk grades.
Assist Portfolio Managers in the early
identification and proactive management of deteriorating credit and other
Prepare credit approval materials for annual
client reviews, and ensure risk ratings are accurate.
Calculate loan covenant requirements. Assist Portfolio Managers with the analysis,
preparation, and approval for all required waivers and amendments.
Verify borrowing base information.
Provide Experion client searches, personal
credit reports, and industry reports as part of the due diligence of new loan
Work closely with the Portfolio Managers to
ensure the accuracy of credit system data.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the
bank’s credit policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting,
finance, or economics.
Basic understanding of financial statements
and financial statement analysis.
Basic understanding of formal writing, which
would include organization of materials, presentation skills, grammatical
structure and accuracy, syntax and vocabulary, and an ability to construct
coherent sentences and paragraphs.
Technical financial writing experience preferred.
Able to handle multiple tasks and meet
deadlines. Must possess a sense of
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
